Our stay in Casa Nou was great. We read some comments about bed bugs here which made us nervous about sleeping here, but we found that the room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. Posting such comments can be a way for someone to discredit a hotel and we'd recommend not to take them seriously. The only downside was that we could hear a lot of noises from the hallway during the night, but it might have been due to other guests leaving their rooms in the middle of the night because of earlt flights or other.

I don’t know why this place gets any hate in the reviews—it’s excellent! The rooms aren’t huge but they’re perfectly adequate! The staff were super nice, couple of issues with language barrier (my atrocious Spanish) but nothing Google Translate couldn’t fix. Our room was cleaned daily, very impressed with the hygiene. Location was excellent in Condesa, walking distance to everything and Metro Line 9 is only a few minutes’ walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Casa Nou for a lovely 5 nights!

Had a great stay. It's true there is no AC, but we had a window and a fan, and were fine. The place was cleaned every day, and was just like a nice hotel with slightly less in terms of amenities. (Towels were very small) The staff was friendly and attentive as well. Overall, you can't beat it for the price and location. Basically was same cost as hostels in the area. Very good value.

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa Nou for our two year anniversary! The room was extremely clean, and beautifully presented. The hotel is situated in a fantastic safe area, close to great bars and restaurants. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Mexico City.

Great location with easy access to Metro and to Line 1 Metrobus. Easy walk to all that is lovely about Condesa. Fair price for quality of the facility. There is light that comes in from the hallway at night so you may wish to bring a pair of sleep shades. If you use the air conditioner at night, it can be loud so be sure to bring some earplugs. In my room, which was 206, The shower water heat and pressure was spectacularly good. But I believe some hair may be trapped in the drain such that it needs to be cleaned out to fix the problem of slow drainage of the water. The room came with a sink and mini kitchen, including two burners, what I think we called kitchenettes in the 50s. Nice touch. Wonderful appointments. The bed was harder than would be my preference such that my sleep was not as great as it could have been. This would , and will, prevent me, personally, from booking here again. I think that the bathroom needs a small table or something because there is limited room to put one’s stuff if one has a lot of stuff. Or, if two people are sharing the room. There is a small step up in Room 206, so memorize it, in case you need to go to the bathroom at night. The design of the bathroom, especially if the shower drain is clogged, is going to result with much water on the floor. So I’m concerned for them as to where the water goes and if it may cause them problems later if it is building up in the ceilings on the lower levels. Ample room in the closet. Great pillows. Nice table and long table where I was able to put my stuff. Lovely staff. There is an elevator so heavy suitcases are less of a problem here than in places where you’ve got to climb a bunch of stairs. See photos.

I’ll start over saying this place is great for what you pay and for its location (2 blocks from the metro). I would stay here again. It does have a few quirks: 1. The room lights are super dim. 2. All the windows basically point toward public space, so you really can't open them. Be careful, as some of them can't even be closed while facing public space. 3. The shower water pressure is terrible. 4. Do not come here in the summer. The air conditioning, even at Christmas, couldn't make this room cool. 5. WiFi is slow but not terrible Also, just as an FYI, the toilet is super close to the wall for no apparent reason, especially since there is actually a ton of space. It's really odd. Personally, I don't think any of these are deal breakers if you're getting the low pricing that's offered. Also a tip to find it there’s just a small bell which you have to use every time you enter right next to the 66 on the wall.
